(Nicole Dillenberg opened the show with "Got My Mind On Music", which Mack Gordon and Harry Revel wrote in the '30s for Alice Faye)

1. Jane Mannon sang "Falling In Love" and later did "Sweethearts".

2. Singer-songwriter Nick Roth did an original, "Combination", and later did "Lay Down My Arms". Laurence Tietz accompanied on mandolin and Nicole harmonized on both.

3. Jeff May, who is being coached personally by voice coach, Seth Riggs, sang "When You Say You Love Me". It is incredibly rare for the famous titan Mr. Riggs to take on a student, but Jeff's talent is such that he made an exception.

4. Laurence Tietz did his original 8-bar blues number, "Wood Eye Blues". Nick Roth harmonized.

5. Sallly Champlin, who earlier in the day shot a bit for Jay Leno's opening monologue, sang the 1940s Garland song, "Zwichen" in German. The song was used in "Easter Parade".

6. Hadley Meares did "When Sonny Gets Blue".

7. Dan Domenech sang "Ribbons In The Sky".

8. Lilac sang an original with CD back-up called "Midnight Eyes".

9. Jeanine Del Carlo sang an original with CD back-up called "Goddess".

10. Jillann Gaberielle killed on "Zing Went The Strings of My Heart".

11. Lois Bauers sang "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" and "Come In From the Rain" (we're glad she's feeling better).

12: Greg Harlan Roth brought down the house with "Unusual Way" and, from "Porgy and Bess", "There's A Boat Leaving For New York".

13. Brenda Varda, who recently guest-hosted the Vermont Open Mic and is coming off her well-reviewed play "Liquid", sang an original at the piano, and later, "Lush Life".

14. George Kontaxis sang a sexy and smoldering "If You Go Away".

15. James Babbin nailed "The Kid Inside Me" from "Is There Life After High School" and later sang "Maybe, Baby" from "Annie".

16. Kevin Duggan sang "Feeling Good" from "The Roar of the Greasepaint, The Smell Of the Crowd".

17. Chadwick sang an incredible rendition of "Since I fell For You".

18. Ashley Cuellar sang "Somebody Loves Me". Fabulous!

19. The extraordinary songbird Yvette Ayers did "Got To Find My Heart" and, with Geoffrey Leigh Tozer at the keys, "Everybody's Got A Story".

20. Melissa Thatcher did "Now That You're Gone" and "They All Look Just The Same".

21. That sly crooner Mr. Tozer closed the show with bossa nova hit "Besa Me Mucho".

.

.

WELL THAT WAS LAST MONDAY. WHO KNOWS WHO WILL STOP BY AND WHAT FUN WILL HAPPEN THIS MONDAY.

Beautified at The Skylight Theatre

May 25, 2012 at 8pm to July 1, 2012 at 2pm
Set a friendship before you tease it! Katselas Theatre Company brings you multi-award-winner Tony Abatemarco's BEAUTIFIED - a riotous new romp through four decades in a Massachusetts beauty parlor. It's Spring 1969, and hairdresser Mike's opening day gets off to an unexpected start when a beautiful but dour young Republican, Candy, stumbles in looking for anything but a change of hairdo. But change it he does, and the subsequent years of loyal trips back to Mike's chair prove that a…See More
