Film Groups Plan Trip To Vancouver International Film Festival

Film societies and film travel groups from Nevada, Arizona, Ohio, Illinois, California, Florida and New York plan package tours to Vancouver, British Columbia

Former Palm Springs residents Gary Jordan and Craig Prater will be working with Julie Zamil, Willett Travel, by taking nationwide groups to this year's Vancouver International Film Festival scheduled for September 30, 2010 until October 15, 2010. The 29th annual Vancouver International Film Festival which is one of the largest film festivals in North America will be the host to groups coming from Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago, Tampa and a group of other cities in the United States.

Working jointing on this film festival trip are former Palm Springs residents Craig Prater and Gary Jordan. "I'm very pleased to be working jointly on this project with Craig. Our professional associations go back many years, so this new project with film groups across the country is very exciting," commented public relations executive, Gary Jordan.

"As a result of many phone calls asking about Vancouver, I knew we needed to assist in getting these groups to the film festival. It's obvious that many people are fascinated by Vancouver as a result of this year's Olympics," commented Julie Zamil, travel advisor with Willett Travel in Studio City, California.

Members of the groups will arrive at a Welcome Reception and orientation the first night, followed by breakfast meetings and briefings each morning from film directors whose films are participating in the festival. The group will attend the first six days of the festival (September 30-October 6, 2010).

Passes and a personal liaison will assist each person to film events, screenings and optional tours of Vancouver. The package tour also includes hotel accommodations.

Contact Julie Zamil (800-994-5538) to secure your film festival package and make travel arrangements. For additional information about the travel groups, contact Craig Prater (702-982-0587). Packages range from $1,200 to $2,900.
